The Coconut Grove Ecumenical Network (CGEN), in partnership with Sanctuary of the Arts, will present their Annual MLK holiday Production at the cultural and education facility: “The Many Faces of Dr. King!” This year’s event celebrates the CGEN’s 31stAnnual Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 2 pm.
This free and open-to-the-public event premieres local talent from a coalition of Historic Coconut Grove churches, schools, civic groups, social service organizations, and the community at large. The production brings culturally relevant theatre and celebrates the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. while also educating the community about the struggle and unsung heroes of the Civil Rights Movement.
St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church (Sanctuary of the Arts) is located at 136 Frow Ave., Coral Gables 33133 (Coconut Grove).
